Richeson School
of Art and Gallery has selected Byers' work to
represent one of the finest works of art produced
by today's visual artists. Her painting "Just
Peachy" can be seen at the Richeson 75 Still
Life Exhibition in Kimberly, Wisconsin. The
exhibit will be open until March 30th, 2007. |

the Pastel Journal
international competition as being among the
Best Art of 2006. All
winning entries can be seen in the April 2007
issue of the magazine. |

invited to show her paintings in the Planet Bronze Art
Gallery Miniature Show in Bozeman, Montana. Show dates
are December 2nd through December 31st, 2006. |

In her continued
effort to help raise funds to stop the shooting of
Mourning Doves in Michigan, Byers donated an
original pastel painting for a fundraiser for the
Committee to Keep Doves Protected. Her efforts
were rewarded when the Michigan voters said "No"
to the shooting of Mourning Doves! |

all over the world enter this competition for
awards of over $11,000 and for the honor of having
their work exhibited in this prestigious show. |

selected by The Pastel Journal judges as among the
Best Art of 2005. The Pastel 100 Competition is an
international competition with only 19 works
selected in the animal and wildlife category. All

honor them and to help them in their struggle to be
free from aerial hunting. Through the generosity of
Byers' collectors, one of her pastel paintings raised $2000 which was donated to
Defenders

Pastel Society of America ~ Byers was elected as
a Juried Associate Member of the Pastel Society of
America which carefully selects members from the
thousands of applications it receives. Its current
membership is approximately 700 and it is an honor for
Byers to add her name to this list. |

In an effort to help raise funds to stop the shooting
