Driving the back way to see family in Bend, Oregon, I was amazed by the
beauty of the wide open spaces and ochre-colored rolling hills of eastern
Oregon. It seemed we had the entire world to ourselves so it was kind of
exciting to see another vehicle on the road! We past this fella and his dog
- I think it is a black Labrador - and I turned around to snap a photo of
the two of them. When I got home and saw the photo I had a huge smile on my
face, and in my heart, when I realized they were talking. No
wonder they weren't in any hurry.
