“Daybreak at Edmonds Marsh”$925 (11 x 14 oil on panel). Early morning; Edmonds WA and, in the middle of the city, the only sound I could hear was the fog settling and the train rolling down the track.

Along the Skykomish $1200 (16×20 oil on panel). The river of life; feeding man, fish and artists alike.

Swallow’s Barn 925 (11×14 oil on panel). Painted en plein air (outdoors) this is from a special place in the Skagit Valley. A place where old barns hang on and days of past are reflected in their windows.

Barn Buddies $925 (11×14 oil on panel). The little barns of the Skagit Valley, near La Conner Washington are struggling to stand. Mere months after painting this, these barns no longer stood on the ground but are forever in my heart.

Seven Members of theTree Hugger Gang $2800 (24×36 oil, gallery wrap canvas). seven members of the Tree Hugger Gang gathered in their second favorite spot. they were there to discuss matters of the land and weather forecasts. it was a good meeting and all look forward to the next one where they will cast their votes regarding the new barn.

Building Trust $1800 (Oil on panel). I could think of no better way to introduce myself than to offer something I felt was of value. Even though I had already taken a bite out of the apple, I hoped it still might seem a kind gesture. My goal was to touch that velvet soft muzzle but that’s not something one can do without first Building Trust.

Hey Buds $1074 (12×24 Oil on linen panel). Nothing, I mean nothing gets past this crew. They know every vehicle that goes by and they have their favorites. As the evening sun sets, they wait for their absolute favorite. They know the sound of it and I don’t doubt they can hear the key click in the ignition from a mile and a half down the dirt road. Yep, it’s the hey truck and that’s the one they love the most.
dry pastel oil

Frosted Woolley Fields $1100 (16×20 dry pastel). baaa, burrr. sometimes a llama, sometimes cows, sometimes these guys. i just can’t be picking favorites.

Clairmont Smiles $875 (11×14 dry pastel). Clairmont thinks a lot. He spends the first part of the morning searching for a sunny spot for grazing. He likes his grass really green, like crayon green. He has to think about where the sun will be and when, so he can get positioned correctly when the sun hits that perfect patch. That’s a lot of thinking for Clairmont. He doesn’t worry so much about the evening sun. To be social; in the evenings he will eat just about anywhere. Life is good for Clairmont. Clairmont smiles a lot.
